Karen Young

For the past 20 years, Karen has enjoyed focusing in on helping people to explore the best ways to improve their own futures. This might involve supporting job and apprenticeship applications and interview processes, exploring career and study options, crafting plans to return from full-time parenthood with few qualifications, or helping to rebuild seemingly previously shattered lives by supporting the planning and execution of university applications. Karen’s work is inspired by giving clients the tools they need in a supportive way and showing them how to grow the power to transform their own lives.

Past clients have included a world-class musician, a finance officer, a canal worker, a senior local government manager, a script writer, a RAF officer, a TV Floor Manager, several builders, an events coordinator and many others from all walks of life. Karen has also worked with many clients who are neurodivergent as well as clients who have disabilities and clients with a range of barriers to either study or employment, including ex-offenders and those undergoing substance misuse rehabilitation. Karen’s inclusive approach supports your career development through the most challenging times in life.

Karen works in-person (face-to-face) with clients in the Stroud / Gloucestershire area.
